Joo Summer Sweater
The Joo Summer Sweater by Ane Fiskum Sunde aka NovemberKnits is a great companion for the summer when it's too warm for wool sweaters but you still want something to wear underneath. With its wide cut and slightly flared three-quarter length sleeves, it has a casual look and can be easily integrated into your summer wardrobe. It is also quick to knit, as it is worked with a line and 5.0 mm needle. The sweater just flies off the needles.
The Joo Summer Sweater is knitted from the top down. You start with the cast-on for the neckline and first knit short rows to shape the neckline. Then work the increases for the raglan slants. When these are finished, cast off the sleeve stitches and knit the body in rounds to the hem. Then pick up the sleeve stitches again and knit the sleeves separately in the round. All cuffs are knitted as double fold-over cuffs.
Sizes
1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) = 101 (108) 112 (120) 126 (137) 146 (156) cm chest circumference of the finished sweater.
The Joo Summer Sweater is knitted with a positive ease of approx. 18 to 20 cm.
Wool package
The wool package contains the required amount of Sandnes - Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen) in your desired color for your size. You will also need 4.5 and 5.0 mm knitting needles (or needles matching the gauge) and the pattern.
