Hadley Genser - 2313-01

The Hadley Genser from the new Sandnes magazine is a fairly simple sweater, but it is the yarn that makes it stand out. The new Poppy yarn from Sandnes, which comes in a hand-dyed look and consists of a cotton tube into which the alpaca and merino fibers are blown.
This yarn makes the Hadley Genser wonderfully light, warm and fluffy - like a down comforter to wear 😉

The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. You start by picking up stitches at the neck, from there the back is knitted in rows down to under the armpits and cast off. Then pick up stitches for the front pieces from the cast-on edge of the back piece and knit these until the neckline is shaped. The two individual front pieces are joined into one and this is then knitted in rows up to the underarms. At this point, the front and back pieces are joined in the round and the body is worked in the round to the cuff. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round down to the cuffs. Finally, stitches are picked up from the neck edge and the double half cuff is knitted.

XS-S / M-L / XL-3XL = 121 / 136 / 151 cm chest circumference of the finished sweater.

Knitting kit

The Sandnes knitting kit contains the required amount of Sandnes - Poppy (50 % superfine alpaca, 35 % cotton, 15 % virgin wool) in your desired color for the selected size and optionally the magazine with the pattern. You will also need knitting needles with a gauge of 5.0 - 6.0 mm (or matching the gauge).
