Darling Cardigan

The Darling Cardigan by Veronika Lindberg is such a timeless classic that you are simply well dressed for any occasion. With its straight cut that sits slightly shortened on the hips, it accompanies you to a leisurely stroll through town over jeans, to a chic family brunch over a dress and of course it keeps you warm under your wax jacket when you're out walking in the woods in the drizzle. All around a favorite part!

Knitted in one piece in rows from the top down. Start with the neck, which is knitted in rows and the shoulder is formed by increases. Later, stitches for the front parts are picked up from the shoulders and knitted, forming the neckline by increases. Under the armpits, the front and back pieces are joined together. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and knitted down to the cuffs.

The Darling Cardigan is knitted with a 2.5 cm positive ease.

Recommended yarn: Sandnes - Kos (62 % alpaca, 9 % wool, 29 % nylon) or Sandnes - Sunday (100 % virgin wool) together with Sandnes - Tynn Silk Mohair (57 % mohair, 15 % virgin wool, 28 % silk)

Gauge: 16 stitches = 10 cm knit to 5.0 mm in stockinette stitch.
