Amelia

The shawl "Amelia" is started from the middle of the long side garter stitch. The brioche stitch, which runs through the middle of the first part, emphasizes the symmetrical structure of the cloth.

For the second section, the center stitch divides into two right brioche stitches with a left brioche stitch in between. This continues in the same color as the ruff-right knit of the first section, while the second color dominates in the two-color brioche that now follows on the front. Each row is knitted first with the first color and then a second time with the second color before the next row is worked.

The third part is knitted further in the plain brioche with the second color. Increases and decreases create a sophisticated pattern here and round off the design.
As a simpler alternative to the pattern in the brioche, the third part can also be worked in the solid color brioche.
