Description
Amanon - Mayu
Mayu is probably the most luxurious and softest of the Amano yarns. Here rare Royal Alpaca wool with a fiber fineness of less than 19 microns merges with precious cashmere and slightly shimmering mulberry silk.
The yarn is dyed using an Inca-inspired dyeing method based on a historical model. The result is lightly iridescent colors reminiscent of the gently rolling Highlands.
Responsibility
The yarn is extracted, spun and dyed in Peru.
For thousands of years, the inhabitants of the Andes have offered precious gifts to the Inca gods. This tradition, which testifies to true wealth and wisdom, is reflected in Amano yarns. Amano yarns are rooted in the traditions of the Andean people, at the same time contemporary and luxurious. There is a story in every skein of Amano yarn, and the fine materials are a gift from the Inca gods to the people of the Andean region.
