The Vinnje Slipover is cut slightly oversized and is worked seamlessly top down. First the back is knitted in rows, the shoulders are formed by increases in back and forth rows and the armholes are worked with increases. Then the front is knitted, the front neckline and armholes are worked with increases.
For the torso, the back and front pieces are closed to form a round. By shifting the stitches, the pattern in the lower front piece is formed by increases and decreases.
The neckband of the slipover is picked up from the stitches of the neckline and the sleeve cuffs from the stitches of the armholes and knitted in rounds.
