Sebbe Sweater Junior - 5405-03
The Sebbe Sweater Junior from Sandnes Magazine 2405 is a beautiful children's sweater in a half brioche pattern with colorful stripes in a pearl pattern that offers lots of fun and variety when knitting and has a great look.
The sweater is knitted from the top down. The half brioche pattern is knitted in double thread with one thread each of Line and Mandarin Petit and the colorful stripes are knitted with one thread of Mandarin Petit.
First cast on stitches for the back and knit increases to form the shoulder slopes. The back is then worked up to the shoulders. Now pick up stitches for the front pieces from the cast-on edge and knit them separately. The neckline is shaped by increases. The front pieces are joined below the neckline and knitted together up to the armpits. At this point, the front and back pieces are joined and worked in rounds to the hem. Stitches are then picked up from the armholes and worked in the round to the cuffs. Finally, the neckband is worked.

Knitting kit
The knitting kit contains the required quantity of Sandnes - Mandarin Petit (100% cotton) and Sandnes - Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen) in your desired colors for the selected size as well as optional single knitting pattern. You will also need 4.0 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge).
