Polly headband
Polly is a quick knit headband that is easily adjustable in size. It's a great warming alternative to a hat and keeps your ears nice and warm even with a chignon. Polly headband has an easy to knit lifting stitch definition and is knitted in rows. To form the knot, the stitches are divided, knitted separately and "knotted". Then all the stitches are taken back to ONE needle and knitted off together. Polly is sewn together with the stitch stitch.
Knitting kit
The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of SHIBUI Nest (75 % virgin wool, 25 % alpaca) and SHIBUI Silk Cloud (60 % mohair, 40 % silk) in your desired colors for two-thread knitting. In addition, you will need knitting needles with a gauge of 4.5 (or 22 sts = 10 cm in the lifting stitch definition to match the gauge).
