Description

Montrose Cardigan

The Montrose cardigan by Cheryl Mokthari is a large textured cardigan. The stripes create a casual look. The cardigan is knitted from the top down. You start with the back section and pick up stitches from the shoulders for the front sections. All pieces are placed on one needle under the armpits and knitted together up to the cuffs.

For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and the sleeves are shaped using short rows. Finally, the button placket is worked in double knit.

Wool package

The wool package contains the required amount of Sandnes - Double Sunday (100 % merino) and Tynn Silk Mohair (57 % mohair, 15 % virgin wool, 28 % silk) in your desired colors for your size. You will also need 3.0 - 5.0 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge) and the knitting pattern.
