Lucca Hat
The Lucca Hat from Paula_m is a summery crochet hat in the style of a fedora. The hat is crocheted top down in spiral rounds, so there is no 'seam'. The typical shape with the hat crown bent down the center and curved in at the sides is achieved by steaming. The wide brim is shaped and stabilized with the help of hat wire.
Our papyrus yarn is slightly heavier than the recommended raffia yarn. But no problem!
By reducing the needle size crochet a little tighter and the hat still succeeds. It may become even firmer and more stable shape.
