Effie Sweater

The Effie sweater is an oversized turtleneck sweater with great details. This beautiful piece is simply an eye-catcher in your closet. The cut is oversized and casual, while the long, narrow sleeves and turtleneck give the sweater a touch of elegance. The indicated shoulder seam, which continues down the sleeves to the cuffs, adds that special something. Effie is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The sweater starts with an Italian cast-on at the turtleneck, which is knitted with an interlocked rib pattern and turned inside out when worn later. Following the collar, short rows in the neck area ensure a good fit. To shape the armholes, the front and back pieces are worked separately in rows after the shoulder increases. Then close again in the round and knit the body in stockinette stitch.
The cuffs are worked in a rib pattern with slipped stitches to match the turtleneck.
