Birdy Cardigan

The idea for the Birdy Cardigan was born out of a love for the yarn Water and Marisa has created an enchanting design for you. "Birdy" is a cozy cardigan that is knitted in stockinette stitch and has a V-neck. It is worked seamlessly from the top down and in rows with raglan increases. Short rows are knitted in the neck directly after the cast-on stitches to achieve a good fit.

After the sleeve stitches have been cast off, continue knitting straight to the wide cuff, which is worked with knit and purl stitches and bound off in Italian.

After stitches have been picked up from the front pieces, a facing is knitted in double face. The buttonholes are worked in directly
worked in directly. For the sleeves, the stitches set aside are picked up again and knitted in the round without decreases.

The sleeves, like the body, also end with a wide cuff and an Italian finish.
