Description
Amano - Chaski
Chaski by Amano transports us to a spring day in the Andes. This unusually beautiful blend of the finest Pima cotton, super soft merino wool (21.5 microns) and stabilizing linen combines the best of all worlds. "Chaski" was an important messenger in Inca society. Often these messengers walked many hundreds of miles across the vastness of the Inca Empire. The yarn is super easy to care for and insensitive and can be machine washed over and over again without losing any of its softness.
Responsibility
The yarn is extracted, spun and dyed in Peru.
For thousands of years, the inhabitants of the Andes have offered precious gifts to the Inca gods. This tradition, which testifies to true wealth and wisdom, is reflected in Amano yarns. Amano yarns are rooted in the traditions of the Andean people, at the same time contemporary and luxurious. There is a story in every skein of Amano yarn, and the fine materials are a gift from the Inca gods to the people of the Andean region.
