And poof, there it is, the summer. And where was the spring hiding??? No matter, then just directly from cozy cloth to summer top. Or don't you knit in summer? We ALWAYS knit - we can't do without it. But often our projects are anticyclical, to prepare something for the following season for you. As in this case - because on the Bavarian Maschenfeinnadeln is currently an ITO design from Rakuda and Sensai - which is not really summery but fantastically great.

Two years ago, there was a tutorial for a wonderful textured pattern sweater in "Stricktrends" magazine - for one size and knitted in four individual pieces that you have to sew together. When we were at the ITO booth at H&H in April, we asked about the pattern for this really great design... and got the green light from ITO to work it up. But since we at Maschenfein prefer to knit seamless and know that most of you do as well, instructionsttern will be adapted accordingly.

In addition, we will calculate the tutorial for two more sizes, so that it will be available later for XS-S / M-L and XL-XXL - after the test and just in time for the start of the project for cooler autumn projects... anticyclical just 😉

And what do you have on the needles right now?

"On the Needles" is a series from Maschenfein. What are you knitting in June? What has become of your last projects? Will you tell us here? We are looking forward to it! Just comment here under this post or link up in the links section. On Instagram we use the hashtag #aufdennadelnjuni (and intentionally you can also find projects from the last years of the same month there). Join us there as well!

You can link up for the whole month! Attention: You must put a backlink to this post or blog in your post, otherwise it will not work with the link tool. A backlink is nothing more than a link to this blog :)!

For all of you who are visiting here for the first time: Each month we'll collect your knitting projects by linking your respective blog posts to "On the Needles" here. You can find all past collections to browse in the On the Needles section.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
