A wonderful good and sunny morning for Saturday coffee, today again with a few nice links from the knitting world.

Saturday Coffee 65 Blog

Yesterday I knitted in a cozy round with Sophia and Carina. Here in Berlin, there is a knitting meeting next Tuesday at Wollen Berlin. I probably won't make it this time, but I'm looking forward to one of the next times. It takes place namely now regularly every first Tuesday of the month.

I just ordered new yarn for the first upcoming baby blanket. This time it will be a real summer baby, so for the new blanket a blend of merino and cotton, namely "Lerke" from Dale Yarn. I will report back.

Look, this bag is the perfect beach companion, right? No knitting pattern for it, but should not be too difficult.

I looked at what I have reported in April last year here on the blog so. On the needles I had then the Anna Cardigan, which is now already läääängst finished. I also knitted my Quicksilver for the Woolspire Knit Along. A very nice part, but I wear much too rarely, because I do not really get along with the shape.

Andrea had already philosophized about summer cooking the other day. I just tried on Tetra Cotton from Rowan for a project. It's totally special, but not as floppy as I usually expect cotton to be. Sophia describes it quite well at her store. Now my still secret project also has a large garter stitch portion, so is already by the stitch definition a little firmer. Otherwise, I am - as far as summer yarns are concerned - still somewhat inexperienced, or knit even in summer like airy mohair yarns or merino-something blends ... I'm already very excited about the projects that will land in this and the next month so on the needles. Since you can certainly also be inspired regarding yarn selection.

Have a nice sunny weekend!

April is here and with it the spring! Since it is in some places in the knitting scene a little quieter or the summer yarns are ordered. You are here, however, still very active visit and we have last month for the first time cracked the 100 mark on the needles! How great is that? There are also a lot of new visitors. Welcome to our site!

Of course, even with warm weather here with the monthly collection continues. I'm excited to see how the temperatures will change your projects. I'm knitting my domino shawl from "Owl" by Quince & Co. The colors make it a lovely spring shawl and I'm looking forward to wearing it!

And what are you knitting in April? What happened to your March projects? Will you tell me? I'm looking forward to it! You can link up all month long! Attention: You have to put a backlink to this post or blog in your post, otherwise it won't work with the link tool. A backlink is nothing more than a link to this blog :)!

For all of you who are visiting here for the first time: Each month I'll collect your knitting projects by linking your respective blog posts to "On the Needles" here. You can find all past collections to browse in the On the Needles section.

On Instagram I use the hashtag #aufdennadelnapril (and quite deliberately you will also find projects from last year). Join in there too!
