At the beginning of each month, it's time for a little Insta review to show me once again how much I've accomplished and knitted.

Knitting projects online

While compiling the pictures, I also realized that I am currently enriching my closet with three beautiful cardigans/tops just for me. No shawls, no baby blankets, no kids clothes or hats on the needles. Three big projects. I think it's time once again for a smaller, quick success.

While on vacation I prepared the tutorial for the I-Cord border of my baby blanket Kora (1), sewed the last threads for the Anna cardigan (2), ordered loft for my new project in preparation for my Brooklyn Tweed Knit Along (3) (by the way, I was so impatient that I had the yarn delivered directly to my vacation) and knitted diligently on the Loppa cardigan (4).

Back in Berlin I snuggled up in the finished Anna cardigan and went to work (5), the Anna I have not taken off (6).

I knitted samples for Chainlink, my new tunic-to-be (7), and in parallel I knitted the sleeves for the Loppa cardigan (8). With Chainlink I am meanwhile even much further than you can see in (9).

That was my August!

My Loppa cardigan is the slippery-right-I-don't-have-to-think-about-it project right now, next to the rather complicated tunic I'm knitting for the Brooklyn Tweed Knit Along. That will change soon though, because then it's time to cut it up!

Steek knit

It should not be a sweater, but a cardigan. The middle strip is cut open for this purpose. A little queasy it gets me at the thought, do you have a clue about Steeks? Any tips? How do you do it?

It's getting exciting, in September even the last needles are slowly waking up from their summer sleep. In August there was already a lot going on at Auf den Nadeln.

On the needles knitting

Today it goes into the next round. I have the last sleeve of my Loppa cardigan and the new tunic "Chainlink" for the Brooklyn Tweed Knit Along on the needles in September.

And what are you knitting in September? What has become of your projects? Will you tell me? I'm looking forward to it! You can link up all month long! Attention: You have to put a backlink to this post or blog in your post, otherwise it won't work with the link tool. A backlink is nothing more than a link to this blog :)!

For all of you who are visiting here for the first time: Each month I'll collect your knitting projects by linking your respective blog posts to "On the Needles" here. You can find all past collections to browse here.

On Instagram I use the hashtag #aufdennadelnseptember. Join in there too!
