Description

Pascuali - Cashmere 6/28 BIO

Pascuali Cashmere 6/28 Bio is a wonderfully soft yarn made from 100% highest quality organic Mongolian cashmere fibers and available in a wide range of colors.

Origin of Pascuali Cashmere 6/28 Bio

The raw wool for this noble yarn comes from outer Mongolia. There, the goats live freely in their natural habitat and are treated fairly. In addition, the lifestyle and culture of the people who raise them are respected. In addition, the goats in this region have longer hair, which results in a higher quality fiber and correspondingly higher quality finished knits. This is because yarns made from particularly long fibers are less prone to pilling and therefore much more durable.

The fibers are spun in one of the world's best spinning mills in Italy. This spinning mill has a very strict quality control system that preserves the natural vitality of the natural fiber.

Once it is spun, Pascuali Cashmere 6/28 Bio is also dyed in Italy by a company with years of experience in handling cashmere wool, using the best technical means. The dyeing plant has excellent quality control according to the strictest European standards (REACH) to guarantee the highest quality yarn. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is an EU regulation that requires companies that manufacture and use chemical substances to register them and declare the presence of substances that may have potential effects on human health and the environment.

Pascuali monitors production step by step - from cleaning the fibers to the finished product.

Why is Pascuali Cashmere 6/28 "organic"?

Pascuali offers one of the best qualities of cashmere currently available on the market. Because high quality, animal welfare, fair trade and organically produced products are at the heart of its business, Pascuali has ensured that the cashmere is certified organic by the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce.

This certification guarantees that the wool comes exclusively from free-range animals and that it is also processed directly in Mongolia. With this certification, Pascuali helps to maintain the independence and lifestyle of nomadic herders in the region, while offering a high quality product with fair remuneration for the breeders.

Animal welfare for cashmere yarns

In Mongolia, where the fibers for this cashmere yarn come from, the goats move freely on the grasslands. Their fur is carefully combed out. This type of goat husbandry is particularly desirable because we care deeply about the preservation of the environment and the welfare of the animals. The shepherds in Mongolia love their goats like their children. After all, their livelihood depends almost entirely on them.

Proper care of the finished knitted piece

One of the advantages of cashmere clothing is that you can wear it several times. It is enough to simply let the good piece air out well in between.

If you do have to, you should not wash a piece of cashmere knitwear in the washing machine. It is better to soak the knitted fabric in the sink or a large bowl in lukewarm water with a dash of wool soap and move it only very little in it.

Unfortunately, it takes quite a long time to dry wet cashmere, it is called to be patient! Gently squeeze the wet garment (do not wring) and roll it in a bath towel. Walk carefully on the roll of cloth. In this way you squeeze out a large part of the water built up by the knitted piece. The towel will absorb this water directly. Then let the knitted piece dry lying flat - please neither on the heater nor in the direct sun!
