MIA Jumper - knitting pattern

The Mia Jumper is knit from the top down with a circular yoke.

The short jumper is started in rounds with a wide, oval neck cuff in the lifting stitch, in which the first round of increasing stitches is already worked, then another 5 rounds of increasing stitches are knit evenly distributed over the yoke.

After sleeves and torso have been sectioned, continue working in rounds, adding a few decreases under the arms to give the jumper small curves. The torso is shaped with extended rows just before the end of the hem band, giving it a minimal extra length at the back. The short cut is ideal with fitted skirts or high-waist pants.

The 7/8 sleeves keep the hands free and thus make the jumper also suitable for everyday wear. The sleeves get some increases so that they look discreetly clubby.

The pattern include a detailed model sketch with all dimensions, as well as a blank sketch for notes and conversions.

MASK SAMPLES and PATTERNS
3-threaded with one thread of each yarn, choose needle sizes to match:
Basic pattern stockinette stitch with 10 mm in rounds: 11 stitches x 17 rounds = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: Please note that the gauge for knitting in rounds may differ from the gauge for knitting in rows. If your purl stitches are looser, you can simulate knitting in rounds by choosing a needle size smaller for the back rows.

NEEDLES
The lifting stitch cuffs can be knitted with either 6 (orange jumper) or 7 mm needle (yellow jumper) (=5 or 6 cm cuff height).
