Lamana - Piura Arte
Piura Arte by LAMANA is the hand-dyed version of Piura, a fine lace yarn made from 100% alpaca with a yardage of 400 m per 50 g. Versatile, it can be used single or multi-threaded for both lace patterns and simple plain-right pieces or projects with color play.
Responsibility
The alpaca wool for Piura Arte comes entirely from Peru, where the animals are kept in their natural environment in the highlands of the Andes. The yarn is also manufactured in Peru in owner-operated traditional businesses that are continuously audited for working conditions and fair, resource-conserving production.
Piura Arte also has the OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
