Hand gauntlets Namar (PDF)

PDF single pattern for the hand cuffs "Namar" (= Mongolian: autumn).

The cuffs are started on the forearm with a narrow cuff in a ribbed pattern before the pattern begins on the top of the hand. The sides and the underside of the hand are knitted plain purl. At desired height, work the wedge for the thumb by increasing stitches. After stopping the thumb stitches, continue in the pattern and plain purl to the desired total length. Analogous to the beginning, a narrow ribbed cuff finishes the cuff.
For the thumb, work a few rounds in plain right before also finishing with a narrow ribbed cuff.
