Description
Erika Knight - Wild Wool
Wild Wool is a sustainable blend of wonderfully soft virgin wool with nettle. The result is a voluminous yarn in aran weight that virtually calls for robust fair isle sweaters. The fine color palette is inspired by the wilderness.
Responsibility
The wool comes from Corriedale sheep that live in the Punta Arenas region of Chile. The fiber of the nettle gives the yarn durability and strength. . Erika Knight is particularly concerned about the sustainability of her yarns. She strives for short distances in the production of her British yarns to bring out the beauty of her original wool even more.
