CocoKnits Needle Gauge

The 16 rainbow-colored discs on the Cocoknits Needle Gauge swing out and click back together with tiny magnets, making them just as fun to play with as they are to use. It's a great way to determine the gauge of your needle. Each disc is stamped with both US and mm needle sizes from US 0-15 / 2-10 mm.

And because Cocoknits strives to avoid plastic wherever possible, the pin gauge is made from PLA, a 100% biodegradable, plant-based plastic substitute!

Cocoknits Needle Gauge - Handling:

Often you can no longer recognize the needle size on the needle and therefore do not know which needle you are holding in your hand. This is where the Cocoknits needle gauge comes in handy: Turn out the disks to insert the needle into the hole. The smallest hole your needle will fit into indicates the needle size of your needle. If the needle won't go in, choose the next size up, or if there's too much air, try the next size down.

• Each disc with US as and mm needle sizes 2.0 - 2.25 - 2.75 - 3.25 - 3.5 - 3.75 - 4.0 - 4.5 - 5.0 - 5.5 - 6.0 - 6.5 - 8.0 - 9.0 - 10.0 mm
• Total size (closed) approx. 2.5 cm x 4 cm
• the discs snap into place with tiny magnets embedded on the underside of each disc
• made from 100% fiber waste (called polylactic acid) produced from fermented plant starch such as corn, beets or sugar cane; 100% biodegradable and plastic-free
• the discs are arranged in ROYGBV - the initial color of the discs is random, varies for each needle size and cannot be selected when ordering

Care:

If your needle gauge accidentally gets wet, dry it off and then fan out the slices so they don't stick together as they dry.
Extremely humid conditions can affect the material.
