Description
Midnatssol
Midnatssol by CaMaRose is a wonderfully airy mohair alternative. Made from alpaca, Tencel and merino, this brushed yarn does without mohair at all and is just as suitable as a classic supplementary yarn. Whether knitted individually very fine or also multi-threaded with large needles: Midnatssol is simply a noble and warming yarn. The beautiful color palette is also super suitable for combining with the yarn Snefnug.
Responsibility
The merino fibers used are free from mulesing and come from South America. The alpaca comes from Peru. Tencel holds the soft fibers together in the middle for Midnatssol and is a plant fiber. Midnatssol is spun and dyed in Italy in a family-run business where animal and labor welfare and sustainability can be taken care of.

4 stars I give the color light blue and 5 stars for powder, however, the light brown gets only one star, because in it are very many black fibers mitversponnen, which are also quite stubborn, suffering both the look and feel.
I knitted the Marta V-neck jumper by Lotilda from it (1 thread powder, 1 thread light brown), it would be beautiful, but looks through these dark threads a bit dingy and is a bit scratchy.
1 star deduction for light blue, because the color is much stronger than it looks here, the finished piece (Marta summer cardigan from Lotilda) however, has become very beautiful and cozy.

A wonderful yarn, light and airy, super fluffy and an optimal alternative for mohair intolerances. I knitted the summer evening sweater of Mila Milla from it, short-sleeved it weighs only 165g . A real dream.
