Katrin Schneider's new design "Winter Lines" is worked in half brioche top down in rows. Shoulder and front increases shape the cardigan. After the shoulders, the front and back pieces are knitted separately in rows up to armpit height. Then the back and front pieces are joined again and worked in a modified half brioche in rows to the final cuff. Short rows make the back longer. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the edges and then the sleeves are knitted in half brioche in rounds to the cuff.

Gauge: 20 sts = 10 cm in half brioche with needle 3.5 mm
