Svante - Knickerbockers rompers

Knickerbockers romper "Svante" from our children's book "Smaland - Scandinavian knitting" is started on one leg in a rib pattern in rows. After the second leg is worked, all stitches are taken on the needle and the work is closed to the round. The button placket for the practical wrap opening is knitted directly along. With braids converging by decreases at the front and back, the romper is worked on to armpit height with plenty of room to move. In the straps, the braids continue over the shoulders, while the rest of the pants is finished with a ribbed cuff.

Knitting kit

Knitting is done with Lamana - Como Tweed (100% virgin wool) on 3.0 and 3.5 mm needles. The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of yarn in your desired color and optionally our book "Smaland - Scandinavian knitting", in which you will find the pattern. In addition, you need 3.0 and 3.5 circular needles of the strength (40 cm) or matching the gauge, if necessary, appropriate needle plays and 8 buttons.
