Romy Mother's Day shawl 2025

Romy is this year's Mother's Day shawl 2025, which is knitted from one side to the other in stockinette stitch from the soft Como by LAMANA. After the cast-on, increases are knitted to the final width of the middle section. This is continued in a straight shape until the number of stitches is reduced again in the decrease section. For the fine crochet cables that extend across the Romy stole, stitches for a total of 3 crochet cables are first marked at the appropriate points in the increase section. Stitches are dropped up to these marking points in the decrease section and then crocheted back on as slip stitches using a crochet hook. The stole is finished with an edge of crocheted slip stitches.
