Description
Petite Knit - Cedar wood balls
The cedar wood balls from Petite Knit keep your knitwear and wool supplies moth-free.
Cedar wood protects textiles by naturally repelling moths and other pests. The wood also absorbs moisture and unwanted odors, so that both knitwear and clothing stay fresh for longer. Cedar wood is slightly aromatic and exudes a pleasant fragrance.
Store the balls in small bags between clothing and yarn and take care to avoid direct contact between the wood and textiles so that the natural oils in the wood do not leak out.
Over time, the balls lose their fragrance and thus their natural ability to repel pests. When this happens, the scent can be restored by lightly sanding the wood with fine sandpaper.
The organic cotton bag contains 10 cedar wood balls.
