Puno / Puno Winikunka
Puno / Puno Winikunka is an exclusive yarn by Pascuali made of GOTS certified cotton and superfine alpaca wool. Pascuali's idea was to get a cotton yarn in different colors without dyeing. With the natural colors of the alpacas it was possible to create a color palette in subtle tones suitable for all year round.
NEW: The popular Puno is now also available in the dyed version Puno Winikunka. Many coordinated colors open up great new possibilities in knitting.
The sale of the yarn supports the construction of greenhouses at schools in the Peruvian Andes.
Puno is an all-season yarn that can be worked wonderfully into simple smooth patterns - but textured, cabled as well as lace patterns also come out well.
Responsibility
The cotton is GOTS certified and comes just like the alpaca from Peru. Puno Winikunka is also spun and dyed there. Pascuali's mission is to produce sustainable and environmentally friendly yarns of particularly high quality. The production chain of each yarn is transparent to view and Pascuali visits each farm and production site himself. All fibers come from animal-friendly and environmentally friendly farms. The production is also resource-friendly and fair for all workers.
