Description

Myrtha

The buttoned cardigan "Myrtha" by Katrin Schneider is worked in rows with saddle shoulders top down. The front parts are worked in lace pattern, the back and the sleeves are knitted stockinette stitch.
For the button bands, stitches are picked up along both fronts. Finally, stitches are picked up at the neckline to work the cuff.

The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of Sandnes - Merinoull (100% Merino) in your desired color for your size. In addition, you need 2.75 and 3.0 mm needles (or matching the gauge)

1 Review for Myrtha - Cardigan

  1. Ingeborg Sperling -

Hello, I find the wool see beautiful, especially the knitting pattern. Unfortunately, I do not understand the gauge with the different stitches per 10 cm. Until now, the sample has always fit. But with this wool it is very difficult, have already taken the 3.5 needle. I'm afraid that this jacket will not fit my daughter (we measured the BU correctly and took the appropriate size.) But I'll keep at it and fight my way through. LG Inge

    • Sophia Michalzik -

Dear Inge, the gauge is, if I see it correctly, in stockinette stitch (22 sts per 10 cm). Switching to 3.5 instead of using the specified 3 needle doesn't seem too unusual to me either 🙂 Everyone knits differently, so it's great that you're checking the information against the Mapro. Katrin Schneider also has a group on Ravelry where you can ask questions about her knitting pattern. Maybe there is more help there? I keep my fingers crossed in any case that everything works out. Because the cardigan is really beautiful! Love, Sophia
