Description
Mininata (PDF)
For the tenth anniversary of Maschenfein, the Maschenfein classic Hinata is available as a small scarf version! Thanks to a modified algorithm in the increases, Mininata has significantly less depth than its big sister. With the new pattern, the huge cozy shawl becomes a small companion for every occasion. In the familiar Hinata pattern, triangles of slip stitches alternate with triangles knitted in garter stitch. This not only changes the direction of the stripes, but also the stitch density, which gives the design its special look.

Hello dear Maschenfeinteam.
I would like to buy the knitting set, but in the two shades of beige and white, with the cashmere wool. Which colors did you choose?

Dear Maria,
Marisa's version in Como Cashmere is knitted in the colors 62 rose quartz and 37 pearl grey.
Best regards

Nice little project, even if you're not a knitting pro. Once you've understood the basic pattern, you'll make good progress .... but careful stitch counting is essential!
I'm not completely finished yet, but I'm wondering whether it would be possible to knit a clean finish (e.g. ICord) on the slopes as well?
Hence my question to the experienced knitters on the Maschenfein team: Would this be possible or is there something technically against it?
Kind regards
Susanne

Dear Susanne,
We would recommend that you knit an ICord edge afterwards. Knitting it directly would require too much intervention in the pattern, as the edge stitches in the pattern are the "increase stitches".
Have fun trying it out!
