Mayra - Christmas shawl 2023
The shawl Mayra is composed of 66 individual shells knitted in garter stitch, which are worked one after the other - one shell to the next. The individual shells can be knitted with two different qualities in the same, a similar or two different colors. Mohair-free it is also possible to do without the second quality and only let different colors play.
With a length of about 250 cm the shawl is very large - due to the small depth and little weight it is nevertheless fluffy light and becomes a cozy favorite companion.

- 3.5 mm circular knitting needle 40-60 cm (or matching the gauge)
- 3.5 mm circular knitting needle 80-100 cm (or matching the gauge) to bind off the shawl
- Stitch holder or remaining thread to keep stitches still

I am currently knitting the shawl in the nutmeg version.
I could also imagine knitting the blue one. Would it also work in two shades of Premia? This variant is apparently not planned.

Dear Catharina,
A variant made only from mohair works just as well. However, as we have not tested such a variant, it is not included in the pattern and therefore there is no kit for it. But we'll take your suggestion on board and have a look at it.
If you want to knit a pure mohair version, it's best to add the pattern separately to your shopping cart and three balls each of Premia from Lamana in two colors of your choice.
