Liebelei top

The Liebelei top by The Knitting Me Bettina Wenko is a light and airy summer top made from the smoothly draping Perla yarn by Lamana. With its loose drape and stripes, it is the perfect companion for warm days.

The Liebelei top is worked seamlessly top down. The first part of the yoke is knitted with a back closure in back and forth rows before the work is closed in the round. After completing the first part of the yoke, the back and front sections are finished separately and closed again in the round for the body. A wide rib pattern is worked into the front section to give the top its beautiful silhouette.

The Liebelei top is knitted with a positive ease of 8 to 16 cm.

Knitting set

The knitting set contains the required amount of Lamana - Perla (65 % cotton, 25 % alpaca, 15 % silk) in your desired color for your size. You will also need 3.0 to 3.5 mm knitting needles (or knitting needles to match the gauge) and the knitting pattern.
