Description
LAMANA - Cusi
Cusi from LAMANA is a brushed alpaca yarn, which reminds of brushed mohair yarns in character. You can knit Cusi single-threaded very well with slightly heavier needles (3 mm or 4 mm) or even double-threaded with 5 mm needles and up.
Cusi is suitable for playing with shape and color. Beautiful scarves, cardigans & Co are guaranteed to become favorite pieces with Cusi.
Responsibility
The alpaca wool for Cusi comes entirely from Peru, where the animals are kept in their natural environment in the highlands of the Andes. The yarn is also manufactured in Peru in owner-operated traditional businesses that are continuously audited for working conditions and fair, resource-conserving production.
Cusi also has the OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Katrin Brown -
Cusi is a great alternative for those like me who can't tolerate mohair. I've used it with Como to make accessories (scarf, hat, snood). And I especially like my black and white sweater made of black Perla knitted together with white Cusi in a left-right checkerboard pattern.
