I was totally disappointed with the wool at first. It felt very scratchy. But after washing it several times it became softer and softer and more comfortable to wear. I will soon be ordering more of the same quality because the wool knitted very nicely and I think it's great that the sheep are not tortured

When knitting, the heavy merino feels quite scratchy. Will that go away after bathing?

Dear Steffi,
the yarn becomes even softer by bathing and wearing. But it is a grippy yarn.
Love greetings,
