The Mayla hat is a cozy soft beanie with a ribbed pattern. The knit ribs are twisted, which gives the hat additional structure. As the purl stitches are worked normally, the hat still knits up very quickly.

Start at the folded cuff with an Italian cast-on. After the cuff, the knitting is turned once and the pattern is continued in a staggered pattern so that the knit stitches are on the outside even after the cuff has been folded.

After the side decreases, the cap is closed at the top by kitchener stitch.

3 balls of LANG Cashmere Light (88 % cashmere, 12 % polyamide; 85 m / 25 g); here in the color 94 Offwhite

Needles

4.0 mm circular knitting needle 40 cm
and/or
4.0 mm double pointed needles or Crazy Trios
additional needle of the same size for folding over the sts for sewing off at the end
