Description
Hand cuffs Aki
The hand cuffs Aki (= Japanese: autumn) are started at the underarm cuff, from where one thread Karei and one thread Sensai are knitted in rib pattern to the desired cuff length. From now on, both yarn qualities are worked twice.
Smooth right rows of double Karei are interspersed with small nubs knitted with two threads of Sensai in the contrasting color.
For the thumb, an auxiliary thread is worked in at the appropriate height before continuing in the stockinette stitch nap pattern to the end of the hand.
Finally, the auxiliary thread is released from the work, the stitches are picked up and the thumb is worked.

Knitting kit hand cuffs Aki
The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of ITO Karei (100% cashmere) and Sensai (60% mohair, 40% silk) in your desired colors and optionally the pattern as PDF. In addition, you will need needles (needle plays, long circular knitting needles for Magic Loop or short circular knitting needles) with a gauge of 3.0 and 3.5 mm (or matching the gauge).
