Girlfriends Cardigan
The GIRLFRIENDS CARDIGAN by ANKESTRICK is knitted seamlessly top down.
From the edge of a separately knitted I-cord, stitches are picked up for the back and the shoulders are shaped with short rows. The back is further worked in garter stitch to length of armholes. From additional stitches picked up from the edge of the I-cord, the front pieces are knitted in garter stitch to the length of the armholes. Back and front pieces are joined to form row and knit together to optional pockets and continue to cuff. The sleeve stitches are picked up along the armhole and knit in rounds in garter stitch to the cuff.
