Description
Davvi
The design to the pulse warmers DAVVI by Aleks Byrd for Laine Magazine 07,were inspired by the pattern of traditional sami clothing. The pattern is created by color changes and crossed stitches. In the original, the cuffs are worked with three contrasting colors.
The knitting kit includes the necessary amount of SANDNES Alpakka Silke (70% alpaca, 30% silk) in your desired colors, and optionally the Laine Magazine 07 (English), which contains the pattern. In addition, you will need circular knitting needles of 2.25 and 3.0 mm (or matching the gauge). This kit is designed to work with only one contrast color.
