Description
Dagmar Jacket
The Dagmar Jacket by PetiteKnit is a beautiful, warm structured cardigan. The ensemble of different cables and knitted patterns makes it a very special eye-catcher. It has a wide cut and is great for layering over any outfit. It looks particularly good casually over jeans, for example. The jacket not only impresses with its textured pattern, but also with fine details such as a good fit, neat cuffs and chic duffle buttons. The Dagmar Jacket is a challenging but certainly unique piece of knitting.
The cardigan is knitted from the top down. You start with the back, which is shaped by increases. Pick up stitches for the front pieces from the shoulders and finish the body on one needle in rows at the height of the armpits. Stitches are then picked up from the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, pick up stitches for the button facing and the neckband.
