In the "Driftwood" series you will find birchwood needles of all kinds. The circular knitting needles in this series are easy to hold and their smooth surface makes them comfortable to knit with.

As for knitting needles, I have worked my way through different materials over the years. From metal, then bamboo, then I switched to the system of Prym with hardwood needles to replace. Here already in between I had a favorite needle of wood and stone of ebony.
But since I got to know these birch wood needles here I am blown away. Have me now completely covered from thinnest to No. 3 with it, I hardly knit heavier.
The wood is not as smooth as Prym, it is light as bamboo, but smoother in the flow of stitches, not too smooth that the stitches slip off.
