The Balloon Jacket from Petite Knit is a super beginner-friendly chunky cardigan in garter stitch. It is knitted from the bottom up starting with a ribbed cuff. The sleeves are knitted and sewn on separately and then the facing is knitted on in one piece.

The jacket was really very easy and thanks to the large needle size also quick to knit.
I opted for knitting kit 2. The two yarns, BC yarn Loch Lomond and Silky Kid from Kremke Soul Wool complement each other perfectly. The knitting result is wonderfully warm, light and fluffy.
