As nature awakens from hibernation, one thing is clear: Easter is coming soon! Whether you celebrate the holiday or not - hardly anyone says no to cute decorations such as chicks, bunnies etc. That's why we've put together a few great ideas for you in this inspiration.
Cute ideas from Denmark

We have teamed up with the Danish manufacturer Krea Deluxe for this special inspiration. Behind it are the two sisters Heidi and Pia. Their mission: to offer few, but particularly high-quality yarns for the knitting and crochet world.
You can find almost all of the Danish yarns here, so that you have a particularly fine selection - especially when it comes to possible crochet projects. In addition to GOTS certification, the yarns also shine with a coordinated color palette.
Carefully produced
For the selected crochet designs for Easter and spring, you mainly need the pure cotton yarn Organic Cotton, with the glitter yarn Shiny also providing accents.
For a particularly cute project, you will also need Organic Wool 1, a pure merino yarn that is beautifully soft and doesn't pill much. By the way: especially if you are crocheting small items for children, you don't need to worry about anything with Krea Deluxe yarns. No chemicals are used and the yarns can be used next to the skin without any problems. Shiny has a small polyester content, but is still soft thanks to the viscose and is only used selectively anyway.
With German translation
For our maschenfein Easter campaign, we have selected nine crochet patterns from the Danish manufacturer, for which we have created matching sets for you. And the best part: when you buy the yarn, you'll get the pattern, including the version we've translated into German, for free from March 20 up to and including Easter!
So nothing stands in the way of you crocheting straight away. Thanks to our sets, you'll get the right amount of yarn and can also order the matching crochet hooks if required. Incidentally, there is often enough material for one or two leftover projects - how about these cute mini bunnies, for example? They look great on small gifts or on the Easter buffet.

If you're making Easter nests for children, you can't go past the mini versions of rabbits, chicks and sheep. Here you can either get the same animal out of a ball several times or you can make a colorful mixture - just as you like!
Another great thing about these projects is that they are quick to make and you can easily make several by Easter. The pattern include all the mini animals.
For cuddling and bagging
The best time to start is now with the sheep family. The cozy balls of fur, which are made from organic wool, are - it has to be said - sweet as sugar.
The set consists of a mom and dad sheep and three little lambs. The pattern contain various options for making each little sheep unique. And don't worry: the cute little curls will come easily after a while!

The Easter bags from Krea Deluxe are definitely suitable for all ages: The crocheted bag is closed at the top with a cord. Before you crochet the sides of the bag together (don't worry - this step isn't wild), embroider an egg on it, which you can spice up with glitter yarn as you wish. The final size is approx. 14.5 x 19.5 cm - so you can easily fit a few sweets in here (even for tall guests! ;-)).
And did you know that each of our sets also has a difficulty level? You'll find the information at the top - it ranges from one to five. This means that even those of you who don't crochet very often can easily assess whether you want to tackle the respective project. In the Maschenfein team, however, we have found that a lot is possible with a bit of good will - even when crocheting!
The right accessories
In the sets you also have the option of ordering a crochet hook. We have opted for the KnitPro crochet hooks made of aluminum with a soft grip - a solid hook for beginners. But we also have beautiful bamboo needles from Seeknit in our portfolio, the Unicorn Purpleheart needles from addi or the crochet hooks from the Etimo Red series from Chiaogoo. If you are planning to crochet more projects, you may also want to invest in a whole set.
Depending on the set, you also have the option of ordering different quantities of absorbent cotton. Depending on the project, you often don't need much - but you shouldn't be stingy either, as the figures - especially the sheep family - won't stand up properly in the end and will look very wobbly, for example. Instead of absorbent cotton filling, you can also use scraps of fabric and wool, for example. Just make sure that the material doesn't shine through the stitches too much and use light-colored, inconspicuous fillers.
More Easter ideas - knitted this time
Of course, you can also find a few knitted Easter ideas at Maschenfein - although crocheted little things are wonderful when it comes to eggs, chicks and the like. Nevertheless, we at Maschenfein are very much in love with our felted Easter basket and Mümmel the bunny. And for those who might want to knit a baby: How about the matching baby blanket?
In any case, we wish you happy Easter days and lots of fun preparing!
