4th Advent Brevue Cardigan

Dear Maschenfein team,
I have been eyeing this timeless and cozy cardigan ever since it came out.
I would love to knit it from Como in light gray. 🎄🥰

I would love to knit the Brevue Cardigan, I just need an open cardigan for "coolness". However, I would knit it shorter and with a sleeve turn-up - after all, anything is possible. The color is super pretty, I'd pick it right away because it's so neutral and really goes with everything. I would choose Como and Premia, I think the combination is more robust.

Maschenfein is so fine!

I liked the cardigan as soon as it was released and I would love to knit it in a beautiful sand tone, or a gray/beige combination. I think it's brilliant when working with double yarn that you can put together matching colors. But it also increases the number of possible combinations....

What I rarely like is your choice of colors, far too much beige, natural, gray, but thank God every Jeck is different and I prefer to draw from the colorful color pot of the manufacturers and would choose knitting set 1 in the colors

What can you say about this cardigan? Simply beautiful! Cozy just by looking at it. I would knit it exactly as in the picture, because gray is simply my favorite in my closet. Always easy to combine with all colors and timelessly beautiful. It's supposed to be a piece for "eternal love".

The Brevue cardigan is exactly what I need at the moment - in my wardrobe, because it always fits, and for a tired evening, because it's frizzy on the right.

It's been on my to-do list since it was released. I love knitted shawls like this that you throw over it and it's chic AND warm. I will most likely knit it in both versions. Variant 1 definitely in pomice/pearl gray and variant 2 in burgundy. 2025 is already well planned🙃

About 40 years ago I ordered a cardigan from Quelle. It was a bit oversized and I've worn it up and down ever since. Whenever I needed something hygge, a place to hide or I was simply cold.
Now it's not quite as nice as it used to be, but I still wear it. Cardigans are for life.
And for the soul. The Brevue cardigan could be just such a piece. Made from como and premia in basalt blue.
Because it's more suitable for everyday wear and matches my current taste in color. (The "old" jacket was bordeaux/black mottled).
