1st advent Dina Sweater
{GRADE PLAY}
Update: We have drawn a winner and notified her! Thank you for your numerous entries. Let's continue on the second Sunday of Advent!
It's the 1st Advent! Together with you, we're opening the first door of our small but mighty stitch Advent calendar today.
Until the fourth Advent, you have the chance to win a knitting set for a Maschenfein design in our Advent calendar. All you have to do is leave a comment here and/or under the corresponding Instagram post. You can find the conditions of participation on this page.
The Dina Sweater
Even if the temperatures are currently pointing towards "cozy knits" - in terms of knitting, we keep dreaming of spring. And who knows? Maybe a mild winter day or two is also waiting for us!
But whatever the weather: Our maschenfein Dina sweater is a great project. Wear it on its own in spring and simply with a chic, simple cardigan in fall and winter. The stripes provide additional motivation - "one more stripe" is of course also true for this project.
Drop stitches provide the sophistication
Perhaps some of you still remember our Dineke sweater. We haven't carried the original yarn for a long time, and it was time to bring the design up to date. As our wearing comfort has changed, we have revised the positive ease, extended the sizes and generally come up with a great new yarn combination. The result is the Dina Sweater. You are working two-ply with Kosho and Sensai from Ito.
Dina is constructed with a circular yoke and is knitted seamlessly top down. The design is given that special something by the stripes, which are worked in a different color and with drop stitches. Variety in knitting is therefore guaranteed!
Would you like to wear a Dina sweater soon? Then jump into our lottery pot and leave us a comment here and/or on the corresponding Instagram post and tell us which color you would like to knit the model in. We'll draw lots next Wednesday! Please note: Your comment will be activated by hand - so don't worry if it's not immediately visible.

Dear maschenfeine
What a nice idea with the raffle, thank you for that.
The sweater looks so light and fluffy, and yet certainly warming, I could also imagine it very nicely in red and pink/pink striped, red because of the warmth and pink to carry off the contrast a little
Best wishes and I wish you a wonderful Advent season with lots of anticipation
Sabina
I have loved the Dina sweater for a long time, I like it in the original colors, but it also looks great in shades of grey.
That's why I'm happy to jump into the lottery pot and wish all knitting enthusiasts a wonderful Advent season.
A great sweater. I can well imagine it in gold oak and vermillion.
Dear Maschenfein team,
I would be very happy about the knitting set,
but still have to think about the variety of colors.
Best regards
Daniela
I've been wanting to knit Ito yarns for a long time!
I would knit it exactly as shown in the photos. I would then wear it with my long striped linen trousers in the same color. A dream ... 😉
Dear Maschenfein team,
I would finally like to try my hand at knitting stripes. Your cozy sweater just smiles at me. However, it is sooo difficult to decide on a color combination. As a reddish hair type, I usually tend towards warm tones. I also like the combination of grey/light grey and blue with a bright contrasting color. Now I'm hoping for Mrs. Fortuna 😉
I wish everyone a wonderful Advent season!
Dear Maschenfein team,
As we all know, stripes ALWAYS work, even in Advent, if only it weren't for the agony of color choice...;:))
But you can't really go wrong with a beautiful blue and a nice warm natural shade, can you?
Have a wonderful Advent week everyone!
LG Marlies
A great model and a lovely project for the Advent season. I would knit it with a darker main color.
Dear Mascheinfein team,
I am happy to try my luck in the raffle again this year.
I would like to knit the Dina Sweater in the colors denim and pale blue.
Warm Advent greetings
Conny
This is a very nice model. I could imagine that the combination of light and dark blue would be very nice.
Hey, I'd love to jump into this lottery pot! Stripes always work... and I've always wanted to try Ito yarns...
I would knit in denim with stripes in Pale Blush. Best regards, Anna
I would be delighted to knit the sweater in two different shades of blue.
Beautiful sweater, the needles are already itching 🙂
Have a wonderful Advent season and best wishes from Petra
Sooo beautiful. I would like denim with pale blue. "Just one more stripe..."
Very nice sweater that I would like to knit 🎄.
Dear Maschenfein team,
the Dina sweater is great. However, I'm not sure if it's not too demanding for me. I only became aware of knitting from the top through you, but I'm thrilled. My colors are also pink and red. I'm looking forward to more suggestions and wonderful wool. Greetings
Christine
Hello
I would love to knit the sweater
In pink with red or orange it would be a good mood piece
Dear Maschenfein team,
Outstanding designs made from high-quality yarns, often new and even more beautiful with the latest yarns. What you achieve is simply fantastic.
First highlight on Saturday: the Maschenfein newsletter and I already have lots of new projects in mind...
My favorite color combination at the moment: purple and green... so for me please Blackberry and Grass :).
Have a good start to the week!!!!
Dear Maschenfein team, a great model which I would perhaps also trust myself as a knitting beginner, I am always a fan of color and would find a combination of a nice shade of gray and a pink or turquoise tone great but with the color selection it would be really difficult to decide! Have a lovely Advent week everyone! VG Rebecca
What a great idea and what a beautiful project! I would love to knit the sweater in ITO Kosho Top Angora and Sensai Pale Blue, in a colorful mood for a hopefully cold and snowy January. Wishing you all an atmospheric Advent and a cozy Christmas! Iris
I would love to try my hand at this project. Preferably in the colors Top Angora/Angora.
Have a wonderful Advent season!
Color white and orientblue
Dear Maschenfein team,
the sweater is a dream and I would love to knit it in the color blue with white stripes. It would be perfect for the next vacation by the sea or at one of our beautiful lakes in Upper Bavaria.
Advent greetings
That's a lovely Advent game! 🙂 I would love to knit the sweater in Bordeaux red (Bordeaux and Enji) and white (White and Raw White).
I wish you all a wonderful Advent season!
What a beautiful sweater!
I would knit it in dark navy and pale blush!
Today is Sunday and the first Advent 🕯😀. Regarding the competition, I have to say that I really like knitting ITO. Sensai, for example, is my substitute for mohair because I am so sensitive to scratches.
I wish you knitters and your loved ones a wonderful 🎄🎅🌟 pre-Christmas season! Knitting greetings, Ulrike
Dear Maschen fein team,
Many of my collected knitted works of art have been created through your suggestions and collections of ideas, so a big thank you for that.
I love the high-quality yarns, pattern and designers you work with. Ito material in particular stays in your memory once you have knitted with it.
With so many colors, it's hard to choose:
I opt for bordeaux and blackberry.
Your many great, creative ideas make me want more. Keep up the good work....
Conny
I feel the same way... I still have a complete Sensai knitting set for a dress that I wanted to knit, but this cozy sweater is sooo appealing to me... Thank you so much for all the lovely suggestions (even if sometimes the motto is: "Those who have the choice are spoiled for choice" 🤫). Wishing you a wonderful Advent season, Petra 🕯🌲🤶🧶
Hello dear "knitting girls" from Germany, I have been living in Poland for 3 months: walking with my child and dog, reading your posts (Saturday coffee) and of course knitting help me to take things a bit easier here and to have the feeling of having "like-minded people". I would like to knit the sweater in the colors as pictured (white, oatmeal), but I also like shades of red. The set could be sent to my parents in Germany if I am chosen.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas season! Wszystkiego najlepszego
Simone
Dear team at Maschenfein, an advent calendar for us knitting enthusiasts? What a sweet idea and such a great object too. If I was lucky, I would be very happy about it and knit it in the original colors. Have a cozy Advent season
Finally another perfect pattern for my favorite combination of blue and yellow tones: Mustard and Denim ❣️
I'm already looking forward to knitting!
What a lovely idea. I would knit this "cozy sweater" in the main color red and angora as a secondary color. I would be very happy about the knitting set. Have a wonderful Advent season!
How wonderful that there are knitting fairies like you! It makes the Christmas season a very special celebration of ideas and enjoyment. Thank you for all the great suggestions and a wonderful, bright and cozy Christmas season to you all!
What a lovely "present" you have come up with and it looks like a wonderful knitting set as a top-down project, even for those still inexperienced in the top-down knitting world. I look forward to your real stroke of luck and to more great knitting suggestions!
Dear Maschenfein team,
such a lovely idea, the advent calendar 🎄
I could well imagine the delicate Sinai in cream and green and would love to conjure it up on my needles in January.
Have a wonderful 1st week of Advent ⭐️
Verena
Dear Maschenfein team,
I would love to knit the Dina sweater - maybe I'll be lucky and win it. I'm currently knitting your Christmas shawl and I'm curious to see if I can finish it by Christmas. Then I would have a new project for January, I like beige and brown tones. Have a nice first week of Advent.
Claudia from the Ruhr area.
This sweater is beautiful! In the beige and white stripes pictured, it's already whetting the appetite for spring! 😊
Dear Maschenfein team, I would knit the beautiful Sewater in pale blue as the main color and snow white as the secondary color. Best regards!
Dear Maschenfein team,
Your Saturday blog is always a highlight, I look forward to it every time. Keep up the good work.
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
this makes me want to start knitting right away and I am hereby registering for the competition.
My favorite colors are 336 String from ITO Sensai and 917 Top Angora from ITO Kosho.
I wish the entire Maschenfein team a wonderful Advent season 🎄!
A sweater for the whole year is a great project, I would prefer different shades of gray. Thank you for this lovely idea!
Best wishes from Moni from the Thuringian Forest 🌲🌲
Super beautiful! You can needle the first harbinger of spring straight after Christmas 🙂
Exactly my favorite...of course un the natural tones...wonderful ...I'm already knitting in my mind
This really is one of the most beautiful sweaters I know 🥰😍🧡
Hello Maschenfein team,
I am very happy to have found you!
I hope you all have a good time and maybe I'll be lucky with the competition😉
Best regards from Nuremberg!
Anna
The idea is to start a spring sweater now. I would like to knit it in rose/light gray.
Kind regards Ingeborg
I think the sweater is totally beautiful and since it takes me a little longer with my two daughters for all knitting projects, a spring project would suit me very well now😃. My preferred color would be denim🥰.
My girlfriend infected me with the knitting virus and Maschenfein is a great address for everything to do with knitting
I knitted the Dina sweater from linen yarn as a summer sweater and wore it up and down. I wouldn't be averse to a cozy alternative 😀
I like the Dina Sweater because it is nice and light and therefore not too warm. Ito yarns are among my favorites. I would choose Pool Green as the main color and Pale Blue for the stripes.
This Dina Seeater with my favorite yarn Ito Kosho and Sensai, I put on my list as my next knitting project.
I already have the Paul Scarf.
I'm looking forward to it!
Hello dear Maschenfein team
I am very happy to be in the lottery pot via the advent calendar.
I would knit the Dina sweater in the colors top gray and white
What a great sweater, I would love to take part in the raffle.
Beautiful, I would love to knit this.
Hello there,
With this great sweater, you can already dream of brighter days and spring.
Super nice.
Have a wonderful Advent season.
LG
Mary
Dear Maschenfein team,
I've been looking forward to your Advent calendar again - I dimly remembered that there was something last year...and indeed! And now you're starting with a pattern that I've already had my eye on. If I did, I would knit it in the natural shades you are presenting it in. Beautiful! I hope I'm lucky and you draw my lot!
Sincerely, Bettina
I need this... good morning lovelies! Gladly in snow grey (main color) and white....
Have a wonderful Advent season, best wishes from Isernhagen, Sabine 🙂
Hello dear knitters,
Uiiiii yesaa, I would love to win this;-)
Best Advent greetings from Upper Bavaria
Hello Maschenfein, what a lovely idea. I hope I'm not too late? Have a wonderful Advent season, all the best Christiane
I really like the shape, casual and relaxed
Very nice sweater.
I would like to knit it in Pool Green and 913 Green if I were to win.
Hello dear Maschenfein team!
Stripes just always work. I would be very happy to receive a knitting set and would knit it classically in white with black stripes.
Best regards
Sabine
Wow. It's mega.
Hello lovelies, winter has now arrived here too. The colors of the Dina sweater go wonderfully with this. I would also like a Christmas version in red and white. Lg Elke
I would also like the Dina sweater. Maybe in grey colors.
Lg Christa
I would knit the great sweater in the following color combination:
🧶 Main color: bordeaux
🧶 Second color: red
But I can also think of lots of other great combinations!
Best regards! Kiki
I would like to knit the Dina Sweater in the lighter colors or shades of blue.
I really like the simplicity of the Dina sweater. My favorite colors for it would be denim and angora.
The Dina sweater impresses with its exclusive yarn selection. And the casual fit makes it a very versatile sweater.
My color choice would be top gray with white in size 5.
I would use the colors Green and Oatmeal with the matching mohair 😍🎄
Super sweater, maybe I'll be lucky
Kati
I would love to take part in the Advent competition. Irmtraud
Beautiful
Great raffle, I would be very happy about that
What a lovely idea. I really like the sweater and would be delighted to win it.
Very beautiful design and elegant COLORS
Wow... what a great prize 🥰
Nice idea to knit for spring in good time
The Dina sweater is super beautiful! Could become a favorite.
I would like to knit the sweater in the same colors that Marisa is wearing (beige and white)
Very nice sweater 😊
The colors of the Ito Kosho with the dark gray totally meet my taste. That would be the perfect combination for this great sweater.
Such a beautiful sweater in great colors.
I wish you a contemplative 1st Advent 🌲🕯️
Great sweater that I would like to knit in black (main color) and snow gray (stripes).
I like the Dina sweater in this color combination. I actually rarely wear beige, but I think it looks really nice in combination with off-white.
The only thing I would do is close the neckline a little wider so that it's not so bare around the neck.
I've been toying with the Dina sweater ever since you talked about it in the podcast. I actually found the "original colors" so beautiful, but after looking through the other colors, I would like to knit it in Top Goat (main color) and Raw White. 🙂 Wishing you a wonderful and stress-free Advent season Barbara
Bordeaux and logwood are the perfect combination for me 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Green and angora would be my colors of choice for the beautiful Dina sweater 😍😍😍😍
The Dina sweater has been on my to-knit list since spring. I haven't been able to decide on a color combination yet. There are so many great options-hach!!!! At the moment, I'd probably go for anthracite with light gray stripes-or with really bold red stripes. That's the question, I think both options are just super cool.
A wonderful first Advent to you all, great, totally knitting days and lots of eagerly awaited podcasts and Saturday coffees for all of us in the knitting community.
A really great sweater! I would love to knit it in goat and top goat with pale blush!
Best regards !
I love stripes - and would choose denim and top Snow Gray (Kosho) / Snow Gray Sensai. Have a nice 1st Advent!
Thank you very much for the great raffle! I would knit the Dina sweater in dark blue with white stripes.
A beautiful sweater and I would be happy if it accompanies me through my year 25 and beyond
Dear Maschenfein team, I'll jump into the lottery pot here! I would knit the Dina Sweater in gray (top snow gray) with either pink (rose) or white (raw white with orange (peached red) stripes.
It is always a pleasure to read your newsletters etc. Many thanks for that !
LG, Vi
If I were to be drawn, I would knit myself the Dina Sweater in shades of gray, perhaps charcoal and silver.
Hello lovelies, I wish you a wonderful Advent season.
I would like to knit this beautiful sweater in white and black. I already know the Ito Koshu yarn and would love to try a yarn combination like this. We have only ever knitted with one yarn and you have to try new things sometimes.
Greetings from MV Simone
So great!
I would love to win it...
Have a wonderful Advent season!
Beautiful sweater, I'd love to jump into the lottery pot. Thank you for the lovely competition and have a great 1st Advent🍀🕯️
Hello, I wish everyone a happy first Advent. I really like the Dina sweater. I would knit it in exactly the same colors as in the photo.
I would love to knit it in dark gray/white!
Dear Maschenfein team,
having recently purchased the pattern, the matching wool would now be perfect. I would knit the sweater in snow Grey and DARK Navy stripes. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win 🍀
I would like to knit the sweater in anthracite.
I would love to try this timelessly beautiful sweater
Wow, what a pretty sweater - great colors. It must be a real pleasure to knit it.
Many greetings
I would knit the sweater in gray.
Hello, I really like the sweater. Together with the beautiful wool from ITO, it would be a dream to knit it. I hope to win a lottery ticket.

I am shockingly in love with the title model, I really like this color combination of white and light grey. If I don't win, I'll order it as a personal gift.
Chipmunks 🫶🐿🥰
I'VE HAD MY EYE ON THIS MODEL FOR A LONG TIME. CLASSIC AND TIMELESS!

The Dina sweater is super beautiful and I would be so happy if I won it.
I also love the Dina sweater and would love to knit it in two shades of green.
Beautiful sweater; would knit it in beige and brown 😊

Great slide sweater. I've always wanted to knit with ITO yarns. I would love the colors like in the picture.
I would knit in the colors black and white
Beautiful 🥰 I would knit it in anthracite and gray
Hello I would like to knit it in gray white if I win. I hope this is enough because I'm not on Instagram.

I would like to knit the sweater in the original colors
Very nice all-rounder! I wear it all year round!
Dear Maschenfein team, all the best for the 1st Advent 💫
I would knit the Dina sweater in the same colors as Marisa wears it 🧶.

Elke
I would knit the Dina sweater in exactly the colors shown in the picture. I like that very much! Yours Susanne Ernst 😊
A really great Advent calendar
This looks really great, knitting will certainly not be boring
I wish everyone a cozy knitting evening on the 1st Advent!
And I would love to knit myself a sweater like this. 🧶😍
The sweater looks super cozy I would knit in nature
Moin, I could imagine it beautifully in anthracite with stripes in turquoise or cobalt blue. I'm really into grey/anthracite and I like it with a colorful accent. Maybe Fortuna will be kind to me and let me win.
I wish the Maschenfein team a wonderful Advent season
With sunny greetings Astrid
Hello, I would like to knit the sweater in beautiful warm red tones. LG, Susanne
Dear team,
I would like to knit the Dina Sweater and also learn a new type of knitting (drop stitch) for myself. So far my knowledge is sufficient for knit and purl stitches and a bit of cable. Everything else is new. But it also takes time to do something like this. The colors in the picture look good, but I also use others - the ones that are there.
Should I be drawn, thank you in advance.
I think your Saturday coffee is great.
Super nice sweater in a great yarn combination. Love it 🥰
I wish everyone a cozy knitting evening on the 1st Advent! And I would love to knit myself a sweater like this. 🧶😍
That would be a great Christmas present. As a pensioner, money is not always easy to come by.
An enchanting sweater. My colors would be goat and angora stripes.
Beautiful "simple" sweater. I have already knitted the Ito Sensai in two strands. The result is a wonderfully light sweater.
I would be delighted to knit this combination too.
Thank you for your inspiration
That's great action!
I'm jumping into the list pot!
A beautiful model, I have not (yet) knitted the wool. I would like the main color angora and the stripes in the colors yellow and vanilla
I would love to knit this great sweater in a beautiful nautical blue with white stripes and really hope to be lucky here.
Hello
Thank you very much for such a nice
1st advent door.
I would like the Dina Sweater
in the colors white and oatmeal
colors.
Best wishes and have a wonderful Advent season
Silvia
Great design and great yarn. I would love to jump into the lottery pot. I would knit it in the dark anthracite and white.
I'm looking forward to it.
Beautiful sweater
A silky-soft, fluffy, light summer flatterer. Looks delicate and somehow enchanting. I would love to make it in red.
Hello everyone!
I love browsing your site and always look forward to my Saturday coffee.
Unfortunately, most of the designs presented are too expensive for me, so I
thought I'd just join in here. You can get lucky sometimes!
I would knit myself the sweater in red as the main color and snow grey for the stripes
in size 4 for the stripes.
Kind regards
Gabriela Walter
I've always really liked the Dina sweater. Unfortunately, I still have a few UFOs lying around and have therefore always postponed the order in favor of other projects. I would be very happy if it found its way to me this way. Have a nice 1st week of Advent everyone
I would like to knit it with Bordeaux and Cherry Blossom. Looks beautiful.
The Dina sweater is a beautiful design and the selected wool fits perfectly!
The sweater is so beautiful. I could well imagine it in shades of pink. By the way...I am currently knitting the Paul Scarf...
This is soo great! I fell in love with the Diana Sweater back in the summer and definitely have it on my project list for spring. I'm also an absolute fan of ITO yarns. I would be very happy about the prize. Have a wonderful 1st week of Advent everyone! Andrea
I would be very happy about the knitting set. I would like the sweater in the colors light grey - natural white.
Hello!
Another year has passed and Christmas is approaching.
Advent time is knitting and cuddling time!
The Dina sweater is a cloudy, soft project to knit now and wear in spring - in denim blue with bold red stripes.
Advent greetings
Mila
Happy 1st Advent to the Maschenfein team.
Winter has definitely begun, at least here in the West Palatinate. In these colors, the Dina Sweater also fits the season. I would therefore also knit it in these colors.
I would knit the DINA SWEATER in 913 green and 316 moss.
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
I would like to knit the beautiful Dina Sweater in the original colors as pictured.
Kind regards Susanne
Dear Maschenfein team,
I'm happy to jump into the lottery pot, because the design looks promising and I haven't knitted the ITO yarns yet.
Have a nice 1st Advent evening and a good pre-Christmas season.
Tanja
Keep your fingers crossed, maybe I'll be lucky! 🙂
Hi Maschenfein team, if I won, I would knit the Dina Sweater in the original colors....
Moin, great design, I would like to knit the sweater in the original yarn as you suggested.
👍
I wish you a wonderful 1st Advent.
My color combination for the Dina sweater would be denim with pale blush.
Such a beautiful sweater 🧶 I would be very happy 🫶🏼
I simply love stripes, I would be delighted to win them
Dear Maschenfein team, every Saturday (and every day during Advent 😉) I look forward to receiving your newsletter, which I really enjoy with a nice cup of coffee early in the morning!
Since I'm so excited about the Dina sweater, I'm taking part in your competition and would be soooo happy to win the set!
Please continue with your inspirations as before!
Best wishes from Austria before Christmas,
your Renate
Hello, I always find the suggestions in your News Letter very interesting.
I would like to have free pattern for smaller things like hats and the like from time to time.
Finally a sweater that is knitted top down
plus these narrow stripes and the beautiful color scheme .
A very nice piece
Hello lovelies from Maschenfein, now I'll jump into the lottery pot and see what happens. The sweater is simply beautiful and I would love to knit it in caramel and camel. There are many other beautiful combinations, for example in green, but somehow I have to decide. Now I wish you a wonderful and blessed Advent season. Kind regards Gudrun
Dear Maschenfein team,
ever since I discovered your knitting blog Samstagskaffee, I've been in knitting fever. The Dina sweater in these beautiful gray/natural tones is also on my wish list.
I've always been reluctant to tackle such large projects because I'm left-handed. When knitting, I sometimes have a "brain twister" because I knit from left to right. But I did manage the Quickysweater.
Kind regards
Uli
Hello dear Maschenfein team, I would like to knit the Dina sweater in black with silver stripes.
I would be very happy to win one. Kind regards Barbara
Happy Advent season!
My color suggestion for a good mood while knitting:
Main color ITO - Kosho color: 903 Red
Main color of the ITOI Sensai yarn: 693 Chili Pepper
Stripes ITO - Kosho Color: 907 Pale Blush
Strips of ITO - Sensai color: 300 Pale Blush
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
Your Advent campaigns are a highlight for me every year 🙂
I would knit Dina in the colors Olive (main/sensai) and String (secondary/sensai). For Kosho I would ask you to choose a halfway matching color. Especially with olive it is difficult to see from the pictures whether green could fit.
Kind regards, Eva Maria
A happy 1st Advent to the entire Maschenfein team and a big
a big thank you for the competition.
Best regards, Cordula
A great sweater 🧶🩷
Hello, I have fallen in love with the Dina Sweater and would love to knit it in berry tones.
LG Doris
Soooo a nice idea 🎄 I wish you all a wonderful first Advent too 🕯
This beautiful sweater already makes you want spring
This beautiful sweater has been on my wish list for some time. I'm not sure about the color yet.
I love stripes! And for the coming spring, of course, knitted in blue/beige - certainly a dream!!!
Just my thing: soft colors and a great fit.
A beautiful sweater, I'm looking forward to this knitting experience, maybe luck will be on my side. Best wishes for Advent
Alain
Such fine wool! I would knit Dina in shades of gray so that it remains timeless.
A very nice sweater. Would love to knit it in the color denim/natural.
The Dina sweater would definitely also look good in bright colors. My color choice would be black/pink stripes - almost punky!
A really beautiful sweater. I would knit it either in pool blue with pale blue or in pale blush with rose, it's really hard for me to decide on a color combination.
Thank you for this great competition. I wish the whole team a wonderful Advent season.
Really a great raffle. I love knitting and am always on the lookout for new projects. I would be delighted to win this. I have time to knit during the Christmas vacations. Have a wonderful 1st Advent.
Christine
What a great sweater! I would be very happy about the prize ITO yarns I have not even knitted yet!

Thank you very much for the effort you put into the newsletter and the blog, I always enjoy reading it. Have a wonderful Advent.
Yours, Renate Richter
The sweater looks wonderfully light and timeless. Also available in a dark design.
Ooooh, how lovely is that!
I'd love to take part and wish the whole Maschenfein team a wonderful and atmospheric Advent season! 🌟

Have a nice 1st Advent. I would knit the sweater in Bordeaux
I would choose light blue and white for the sweater 😍
I'm looking forward to being in the draw, maybe I'll have some luck...
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
Stripes always work, don't they? And drop stitches - it's been a long, long time. Sounds like a nice task. Bordeaux would be my first choice of color.
I wish you all a wonderful Advent season.
Juliane
The Dina sweater just looks great. And would fit in well with my wardrobe.
Dear team at Maschenfein,
Finally the opportunity to praise your wonderful homepage.
Starting with the Saturday coffee, the knitting suggestions and knitting packages,
simply an all-round successful package.
I am therefore happy to jump into the lottery pot and take part in the tempting
competition.
Best wishes and a wonderful pre-Christmas time
Susanne Sobotta
My first name is Leopoldina, short form Dina. This sweater is just right for me!
Beautiful! 🤩
I've had it on my wish list for so long and would be delighted!
Dina looks as if the sweater is a challenge.
I would love to knit and wear this beautiful sweater. Preferably in dark with silver .....
I love ito wool.
The sweater is brilliant and I would take exactly these colors.
Maybe luck will be with me....
Have a nice advent season
Beate
Happy Advent season! 🙋🏼♀️
Very nice knitting set, I would love it.
Oh wow. Another great Advent campaign. I would also like to say "one more stripe" and call this project my own and - contrary to my recurring color choice blue - knit it in Top Goat and Snow Grey. So I'm jumping into the lottery pot and hoping for a gracious stripe fairy... erhmmm... lucky fairy.
Hall0, I've only been following you for a short time and I'm totally thrilled.
The patterns, the wool and your posts are just great. I have already knitted several of your pattern. I am busy knitting my remaining wool, which I unfortunately still have. So that I can enjoy your great wool soon.
Not a day goes by since I found you that I don't open your site. Again and again I discover something new.
Thank you for your contributions and the great effort you make so that all knitters can enjoy and benefit from them.
I hope you all have a wonderful Advent season.
Best regards Petra
I would knit it in the main color - Top Angora 913 green , yarn for the cast-on main color 699 Mint , stripe color 905 Blackberry , yarn for the cast-on stripe color 690 Damson
Have a nice 1st advent
I would knit it in gray - green for my daughter.
Best wishes and a happy first Advent 🧶🌲
The sweater looks very nice. Great wool!
I think the color combination is super nice.
Hello Maschenfeinteam,
First of all, I would like to thank you for the newsletters and blog posts, which are always a pleasure to read. I look forward to it every week.
And now I would like to take part in the competition and win the knitting kit for the Dina sweater 😊.
Kind regards

I was just wondering which design the sleeves of the sweater belong to while looking at a photo of the Saturday coffee - and poof, there's the answer. I would knit in Top Goat with Goat and stripes in Top Angora.
I would be very happy about that.
Have a wonderful Advent!
Of course I want to wear the Dina sweater!
My favorite color would be caramel 😍
Very casual and great wool!
I would like to thank the entire team for their work.
Of course, a prize like this wouldn't be bad, especially as I want to knit the sweater anyway.
I wish you all and your families a wonderful Christmas season.

Dear Maschenfine organizers,
I have been following the great sweaters and cardigans that are presented every week for a long time.
It is always amazing to me that all the designs look like they are industrially made. My respect for the knitters!
If I win, I would like the colors: dark blue/light or as shown.
Kind regards
Gabriele Pabst

Hello
I would like to knit the Dina sweater in a navy look 🧶
If I win, I would like the model in the colors 348/908 and 343/917 for the stripe.
By the way, I need size XL.
What a lovely idea. If I'm lucky enough to be drawn from the lottery pot, the color combination vanilla with natural white would be my favorite.
A very happy 1st Advent to you all and many thanks for your always exciting contributions.
Greetings from Cologne
Heidi Ziegler
I would love to knit the Dina Sweater. Preferably in pool blue. I also think the yarn combination is great!
Hello, I could imagine the new old Dina sweater in smoke gray & black.
Super nice Modell❄️☃️❄️
I wish everyone a wonderful 1st Advent
Oh how happy I am! Finally a model that I like straight away. The special thing for me - the wide neckline. With my broad shoulders, only a wide neckline or a high neckline will fit. I can imagine it perfectly in blue/purple or similar pink/purple colors.
Dear Maschenfein team,
In the summer I asked a knitting enthusiast friend if she could give me an address for great wool and, above all, for particularly beautiful knitting and crochet patterns. She recommended you and I have been an enthusiastic fan ever since! I got my fingers back into practice by knitting potholders. Then a scarf - and now it's going to be a sweater. Maybe I'll even be lucky enough to win all the "ingredients" from you!
Pre-Christmas greetings,
Sabine
Oh, what a wonderful first door. I love stripes in all variations. I would be very happy if I made it into the lottery pot to knit myself such a great sweater.
I would love to knit this sweater in the colors Caramel and Angora or Top Angora.

LG, Andrea

Diana
I am always very enthusiastic about your great designs and look forward to Saturday coffee.
The Dina sweater looks great and is definitely easy to wear - the best prerequisites for a favorite piece 😍
I can also imagine it in denim with stripes in Snow Grey or vice versa.
Advent Advent the first light is burning
good and beautiful, and it's cold outside
I have fetched wood
stoked the stove
watched an online seminar
the husband is preparing lunch
- how great is that -
now I'm sitting here
and think to myself
with the Dina -sweater
I feel `much better`
The Dina sweater looks like a really nice and cozy favorite.
It also looks great in denim with stripes in snow gray. 😍
It's a shame that people who don't use Instagram are excluded from your Advent raffle.

Have a wonderful Advent season, greetings Bärbel.

Hello lovelies,
I wish you a very happy 1st Advent and am delighted to be part of Maschenfein.
I have been following your blog for several months and enjoy the beautiful knitted things. I've been knitting since I was 8 years old and that's already 51 years.
Please keep up the good work, thank you.
The shuttle sweater is very nice.❤️Er would be my next project after the socks I have yet to knit for Christmas.
Best regards Annette
Dear Maschenfein team,
I am delighted about the Advent calendar campaign and would like to jump into the lottery pot for the Dina Sweater. the original colors are great for cooler summer days, but I can also imagine the sweater in shades of grey. but first of all, good luck!
Dorothea wishes you a wonderful Advent season.
I think the Dina sweater is wonderfully timeless, with a round yoke at the neck and made of great, super light, beautiful material. I would be thrilled to be able to knit it in these great colors.
With such an amazing selection of colors, it wasn't easy for me to decide! 🤔☺️🤗
I have now decided on the following colors: from Ito Kosho No. 917 Top Angora and 914 Caramel as well as the colors 343 Angora and 696 Caramel from Ito Sensai.
Hey there,
a super nice idea from you! I love stripes and could imagine the Dina Sweater very well with the following yarn suggestion:
Ito Kosho 916 Raw White + 914 Caramel
Ito Sensai 330 White + 696 Caramel
The caramel and white are bright and the resulting maritime look is timeless and would go well with my style. I could also imagine 339 Lilac or 309 vermillion as great colors.
I would be delighted to be shortlisted by you.
Best wishes and a happy 1st Advent
Sabine
Hello lovelies, a beautiful sweater, the Dina Sweater, and a good opportunity to learn how to knit drop stitches. I would actually knit it in light gray and white. Wishing you all a wonderful Advent season. Best regards Adelheid Belinski
Stripes always work. Have a nice first advent
Dear Maschenfein team,
I have been receiving your newsletter for some time now and really appreciate it, thank you very much!
Knitting and wearing the Dina sweater would be a dream. I've been lurking around Ito's fine yarns for a while now, they look so luxurious and desirable to me.
Top down, a circular yoke and stripes... just made for me, a great design.
Since I am blonde and fair-skinned, I would choose the colors differently - pool blue and pale blue would be my favorites.
Let's see if Lady Luck is kind to me.
Have a good Advent and look forward to the quieter days between the years.
With best regards from Berlin
Heike Gräf
A beautiful sweater. As I'm a winter person, I could imagine it in turquoise or berry tones, but it would also look very elegant in light and dark gray.
LG for the 1st Advent
Petra
Dear Maschenfein team, you have succeeded in "renovating" the design to create an all-rounder suitable for everyday use. The original color combination is subtle, harmonious and goes well with the design.

I am a big fan of yours and have been a member of your community for a long time.
I often spend a lot of time in your store to find out about new designs, new wools and new trends,
Of course I am also a customer ...
The sweater looks super cozy 🤗 I'm also really into stripes right now AND the current knitting project is almost finished - so I would like to enter the lottery pot
I really like the sweater and would like to knit it in a nice shade of green.
Hello,
I'm currently busy knitting Christmas presents, but I could very well imagine knitting this striped sweater for myself and getting started. The Christmas holidays are perfect for this.
Regina sends greetings to Berlin
Hello dear Maschenfein team, I am still quite new to you and am more of a beginner knitter. You have quickly infected me with your enthusiasm for knitting. Whether newsletter, blog or podcast: I'm in! Thank you so much for your great service and the many wonderful ideas.
Hi, I would knit the sweater the same way, the colors are so classy!
Have a nice first advent!
A very nice design 😊. I would really like light gray with dark gray stripes.
Hello,
The sweater looks really great.
I would be delighted if I could knit it
.
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
The Dina sweater looks beautiful and I know Sensai from ITO, but not yet Kosho.
I would like to knit the sweater in the color Vermilluon, maybe a combination with pink/pink would be great, you have shown an example of this in a video.
Thank you for your great suggestions and best wishes for the 1st Advent.
Claudia
I would be very happy to win this knitting package
Very nice sweater! I would choose the snow gray and charcoal combo! Wish me luck 😉
Hello, I love your Maschenfeinshop and have already ordered and finished one or the other. I could start sooo many of your knitting projects if only I could do as I wanted!!! I'm sure you know this "problem" 😊

Very nice light design! I would love to knit it in black/top gray, size 4 🧶.
Happy Advent to the whole MASCHENFEIN team!
A really great sweater. I like all colors except green, but I especially love red, purple and bright pink.
Hello dear Maschenfein team, I wish you a happy 1st Advent and good luck with whatever you have on your needles. 😊🧶🍵
LG Sabine Reiser
Happy 1st Advent everyone 🎄 I would be very happy about this win and I'm leaning towards the pink/purple combo 🎄
Hello everyone, the shirt looks great, I could also imagine the color anthracite with natural white. If I were to win, I have a size 4 and would be very happy about a set in anthracite and natural white. I'm an absolute fan of your blog and can't knit fast enough to follow everything. In any case, I wish you a wonderful first Advent and am already looking forward to Thursday and the next post.
Hello dear Maschenfein team,
I wish you a happy 1st Advent and good luck with whatever you have on your needles 😊🧶🍵
LG Sabine Reiser
Such a beautiful sweater! I'll add it to my wish list! Doris wishes you a happy 1st Advent
A really stylish piece that - despite the horizontal stripes - can even be worn by those who are more slender in stature. I also like the neckline: Not too low, but still shows off the neck and a hint of cleavage nicely. So, in confidence, as if designed for me. It would also be a good opportunity to finally knit Ito-Yarn.
I really like the Maschenfein designs.
I would like to knit the Dina Sweater in Snow gray.
Have a nice 1st Advent.
LG Petra
I always think your pattern are great, thank you very much!
Beautiful sweaters 😍
What a wonderful prize draw! I would knit it exactly as pictured here, it's just so beautiful. It would be my first home-knitted sweater! How great that would be!
A beautiful model with a top wool/yarn. I have already knitted ITO yarns for a cardigan and am still very enthusiastic. The yarns are wonderfully light and yet cozy and warm. Even after hand washing they are still in perfect shape and look like new. Yarns are not cheap but really worth the price.
LG from Austria
Andrea
I'll quickly jump into the lottery pot, I really like the Dina sweater! I could best imagine it in shades of blue.
I would love to knit the Dina sweater in the shades of blue with this great wool. I particularly like the Orient blue. It's nice that the sweater is knitted in one piece. I don't like sewing together and can't really do it. Have a nice 1st Advent, best wishes for knitting Bettina
First of all, I wish everyone a wonderful Advent season 🙂
The Dina sweater is great, but the choice of color needs to be carefully considered: the usual feel-good spectrum or something unusual? Tone-on-tone or contrasts?
I would knit this sweater in black so that the yarn and pattern could really work, according to the motto: less is more.
Great sweater. Unfortunately, as a pensioner, I can't afford this great wool 🧶🌲
Saw it once and immediately fell in love 😍
A dream piece!!!
A beautiful sweater and now - knitted over the winter with the colors blackberry and angora - it would be ready in time for spring. What better way to start the New Year 2025 than this.
Thanks to a friend, I have now come to Maschenfein as a long-time knitter... and I am completely thrilled. The designers, the range of yarns, the extensive accessories... simply a paradise for me, where I love to browse and have already completed several projects without seams. For me, this is a step up into another "knitting league"!
I find your Saturday coffee particularly impressive ... which I eagerly await every week. Sophia's writing is simply wonderful, I always feel personally addressed. And your voices in the podcasts are very likeable, and the content is always interesting, sometimes touching, so wonderfully cheerful and motivating.

The sweater is beautiful and I would knit it in classic black and white 🙂 I love stripes!!!
Such a great sweater! I don't (yet) know the two yarns from Ito. It would be a great pleasure to knit the sweater. If not as a prize, then later in the new year as my own project.
Thank you so much for your generous gift.

I love these harmonious, cozy colors and especially knitting from the top. I have almost finished the sweater with the many colorful stripes. I'm not sooo fast because I still have 3 grandchildren and a 91 year old mom to take care of, but I also enjoy the slow growth of the objects.🤗
Best wishes to everyone and have a wonderful pre-Christmas season🌲, Ute

It looks so fluffy 🥰
Preferably in my all-time favorite color brown tones, so maybe caramel.

I can never decide what I want to knit next, maybe in this case the one beautiful first adve🎄🧶
Dear Maschenfein team,
I really like the Diana sweater. Anything with stripes magically attracts me. 😅
I'd rather not wear wool. And not mohair at all.
Will you also have products in the calendar that are made of cotton, viscose, linen, nettle or similar materials? 🤔
Best wishes and a wonderful Advent season to you Ilona
Dear Ilona,
We are happy to include your entry in the prize draw "anyway". If you win, we will make sure that you get a yarn combination that suits you. That's no problem at all!
Best regards
Louisa

If you look at my orders, you'll immediately realize that if I win, I would love to knit the Dina Sweater in a blue combo.

Exactly this sweater is still missing in my wardrobe!!!
And I love the shades of gray!
Maybe I'll be lucky 😉
In a light gray combined with anthracite, I would like to wear the sweater in autumn/winter. There would also be one in beige/ cream white, which would then be used as a year-round sweater.
A timeless model invites you to wear it in many different ways.
A very happy first Advent to you all! I look forward to the new blog post every week. Greetings!
A beautiful cozy sweater and the colors, a dream 🙂
It looks really nice.
Hello,
I would be very happy if I won.
I've been looking at the Dina sweater for a long time.
Have a nice first advent.
I would probably knit the Dina sweater in white with black stripes 🧶 🥰
The Dina sweater has been on my wish list for a long time and the wool quality is - as always with you - a dream. That would be my prize
Oh, that's a lovely idea of yours.
I've been lurking around the Dina sweater for a while and would knit it in black. My colorful projects would all have to be left behind.
Best regards
I love stripes - and I would want to knit this beautiful sweater in a darker red with cream stripes!
My personal Dina sweater would be red with stripes in dark purple! Kosho in Bordeaux and Sensai in Enji as the main color and then Blackberry and Prune for the stripes! Such a nice contrast 🙂
This is a very nice first door with a pretty sweater, thank you very much! I would be delighted to win this knitting set, I could finally try knitting a pattern from the top down. Happy 1st Advent to everyone!
Have a nice first advent 🕯️an all
The cheerful striped sweater fits in perfectly with my life motto: life is too short for gray. To make this very clear, I would want to knit it in the colors carrot and raw white.
Hello,
I would love to win the Dina Sweater and would like to knit it in the colors shown in the photos (natural/beige).
Dear Maschenfein team,
I wish you a happy 1st Advent. I would knit the Dina sweater in bordeaux with stripes in raw white.
Hello dear Maschenfein team, as a lover of stripes, the design immediately catches my eye and I have never knitted (really true) ITO yarns. I've always wanted to do that and this pattern is the best opportunity!
I particularly like the light and airy structure of the sweater and I would like it in the original color.
Have a magical 1st Advent.
Best wishes Gaby
Dear Maschenfein team,
I've been ogling the Dina sweater for a while now. In wonderful blue tones...
I always enjoy your Saturday coffee! Lots of great ideas for dreaming.
Have a wonderful 1st Advent.
Best regards
Marion
Have a lovely first Advent with a beautiful design. Best regards Astrid
It's definitely going on my wish list.
Maschenfein has been with me for many years, the Saturday coffee is just as much a part of my life as the posts from the staff and the many knitting enthusiasts. I have learned a lot from and with you, and I use this platform to say thank you.
I wish you a wonderful 1st Sunday in Advent, all the best
Birgit

Hello, this is a lovely Advent surprise. I would knit the sweater in the original colors, as a sweater in beige tones is still missing in my closet. I haven't knitted with Ito yarns yet, it would be exciting

Now I'm going to wrap myself in my Mother's Day shawl and have breakfast.
Barbara

Hello, a beautiful sweater. I would like to knit it in this beige color.
A great sweater. I would knit it in denim and white
Dear Maschenfein team.
This is a great Advent idea.
I am currently reading my annual Advent calendar from the Anderen-Zeiten team in Hamburg. The motto "Open up and become light" fits so well with the Dina sweater.
Yes, it is a model that fits into the coming spring... and therefore such a nice companion... where I never knit so quickly... but combine pleasure knitting with beautiful designs and great yarn.
I already bought the pattern for the pattern in spring and think it's gorgeous.... but as is so often the case, the to-do list is big and it hasn't been done yet and I would be very happy about the matching wool in the original colors of the pattern.
I wish everyone a good Advent season
Jutta Dittmar
A great start to December! I would be very happy about this knitting set.
Shades of blue! I love BLUE and in a dark blue with soft, lighter stripes - that would definitely be a dream combination.
